Welcome back! Officially the first of March is called the beginning of meteorological Spring. However March brings a lot of unstable weather, for optimists it means the end of Winter! In Spring the flowers start to bloom, animals are coming out of their shelters and the sun is shining brighter! Soon it will be Easter. Easter which celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection is one of Christianity's most popular holiday. But Easter also has a commercial side and various folk customs and pagan traditions such as Easter eggs and bunnies have become part of the holy holiday.
Eggs are decorated for many centuries. Very expensive eggs were made by Peter Carl Fabergé and his company between 1885 and 1917. The most famous are the ones he made for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicolas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers. More info you can find here
