The price is € 5,00 per set of 5 postcards + € 1,20 shipping costs

Theme of December: Christmas tree

End of this month it is Christmas. In December many people will buy a pine tree. You can buy one in the garden shop, at the market and sometimes when you are lucky, just on the corner of the street! We will make our own Christmas trees.

Here are some examples for inspiration. Of course you can make a classic pine tree as well.
You can send in your tree until the 23th of December! I hope you will join!

Theme 23: Circus

Welcome to the Gallery of Circus.

I think we have a fantastic show! Thank you all for joining.

We have 2 new artists who joined the blog. Welcome Elisabeth and Jeannette!

The artworks reached me in different ways: through e-mail, by post or dropped off at my house. I am proud to present the big collection of circus postcards. The 5 artworks which receive the most votes will be manufactured as postcards. These postcards will be sold in my webshop www.rosesarered.nl as a set of 5. For each set sold we will donate € 2,50 to The CliniClowns foundation.

How to take part in the contest?

To take part in the contest you vote for the 5 artworks you like most. Your own artwork cannot be among them. But you can ask friends and family to vote for yours.
You can only vote once.

How to vote?

Send an e-mail to roos25blog@gmail.com and write down your name and the 5 artworks you like most. For instance in my case that would be: 
"Roos votes for artwork 17, 18, 19 20 and 21".

It doesn't matter which one you like most, all 5 will get equal points.

What is special this month?

Last post I told you there would be something special this month, and now is the time to reveal it! The circus theme will be a contest. This time you can win more than just fame, because the top-5 artworks with the most votes will be manufactured as postcards. Your name and country will be stated on your postcard. The postcards will be sold as a set of 5 in my webshop www.rosesarered.nl and for each set sold, 2,50 euro will be donated to charity. 

Because the theme is ‘the circus’ the donation will go to the CliniClowns foundation in The Netherlands. The CliniClowns foundation helps sick and disabled children to forget the treatment, the pain and the limitations they experience. Not only because these kids deserve it, but they also have benefit from it. Distraction and fun help the kids relax and relief stress. This is the strenght of a smile. Some details:

Please note this is a non-commercial project. The Difference of 25 blog is about creating nice things together. This time I would like to do something special for other people as well, give a donation to the CliniClowns.
If you do NOT want your work displayed on a postcard, please let me know when you send in your artwork. Of course I hope you all support this project.

-You can send in your artwork untill the 22th of november
-The 24th of november the gallery and all the seperate artworks  will be on the  blog
-You can vote for 3 days: 24th, 25th and the 26th november
-You can only vote once!
-On the 28th of november the 5 winners will be announced on the  blog
-Each winner (the top 5) will receive 5 postcards of their own  artwork
-In the second half of December the postcards will be sold for 4  months on the webshop. I hope you all buy a set!

Please keep in mind when you create your artwork that the size of your design will be reduced to the size of a postcard. Avoid small details.

Theme of November: Circus

Hip Hip Hurray! Today The Difference of 25 celebrates its second anniversary!

Two years ago we started with the first theme. Today we begin with the 23th theme (we do 11 themes in a year because of the summer holidays). 2 Years have past by; time surely flies.

Some of you have taken part in the blog from the very start and still are sending in your artwork; new people have joined with time. Thank you all for your dedication and enthousiasm.

This month we have a new theme: Circus! And because it is a special month, we will connect the theme to a special contest. What is so special about the contest...I will tell you later this week! But you will be able to vote. And the closing date will be on Saturday, 23th of November. See you later!

Welcome to the gallery of autumn artworks. As the leaves keep falling from the trees and the sun is shining less bright we can enjoy sitting inside and make nice artwork for the blog.
