Theme of September: Garden goblins

In Holland some people put goblins in their garden. Perhaps they think they will help them with the work in the garden: pulling weeds, mowing or sweeping the garden path.
For several years now we rend a piece of land to grow vegetables and flowers. It is a lot of work, but it is worth the effort to come home with a giant zucchini, apples, blackberries and a bunch of flowers.
Maybe we can consider to get some goblins in our garden as well! It is a pity they all look so plastic and ugly.
This month we will make our own garden goblins! You can send in your artwork until the 23th of September. Hope you will enjoy the new theme. See you soon!

Welcome to the gallery of boats. I hope you all had a very nice holiday. We had a fantastic time in Spain with the family. Next week the kids will start at school and I try to get used to start working and the Dutch weather.
Thank you for sending in your artwork. Scroll down to see all the artworks seperately. Don't forget to come back the first of September for the new theme. Enjoy the boatshow!

Theme of July and August: Boats

Almost summer holiday! During my vacation I love to go to the beach and watch the boats passing by. I find it relaxing to see them moving up and down with the waves in the sea. Hope you like the boat theme too?
Many people will be on holiday this month, so you can take your time sending in your artwork. I will make several updates in July and August. We will start with an empty sea, which hopefully will be filled more and more with boats every week.
You can make any kind of boat you like, as long as its floating. The last day to send in your artwork is the 23th of August. On the 25th of August the boatshow will be a fact. I hope you all have a very nice holiday. Enjoy and I'll meet you at the beach!
